RETROSPECTIVE: ART AGAINST AIDS
Saturday, October 10 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.m
PressitOn Art Gallery:
Design District, 4100 North Miami Avenue, Miami, Fl. 33127
In the United States alone, more than 1.1 million people are living with HIV, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and that statistic is growing. Miami artist Barry Gross has battled the disease for more than two decades and credits art to his survival. “When I go to paint, I'm in another world,” sixty year-old Gross told the Miami Herald.“It makes me want to be here, it makes me want to live.”
PressitOn USA invites you to join Gross this October and celebrate Art Against AIDS, a public reception of his solo show “Retrospective.” A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic.
Please RSVP to joanne.green@pressiton.com
