For the second consecutive year, BOURBON STEAK Miami, a Michael Mina restaurant, has been awarded Wine Spectator’s coveted “Best of Award of Excellence” for its extensive list of over 900 selections. Celebrate with Sommelier Matthew Turner and Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton over a four-course gourmet wine-paired dinner on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Menu highlights include a crispy skin striped bass with ricotta gnocchi and chanterelle mushrooms to start; Sonoma Liberty duck served with toasted quinoa, Belgian endive and tangerine; an American Kobe beef duo of rib eye and short rib with sauce bordelaise, cipollini onions and a foie gras emulsion; and carrot cake accompanied by a cream cheese sorbet, raisin purée and candied walnuts. Each dish infuses herbs and spices picked fresh from the on-site chef’s garden.

Wine selections include a 2006 Domäne Wachau Riesling from Austria, a 2006 Two Worlds Pinot Noir from Germany & Oregon, a 2006 Craggy Range Te Kahu from New Zealand, and a Boston Bual from Portugal.

The French playwright Moliere, who is considered one of the greatest masters of comedy of Western literature, first presented Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme on October 14, 1670 before the court of Louis XIV at the château of Chambord by Molière's troupe of actors.

Now it's Mad Cat's turn.

Mad Cat's version will stay true to the story - well as close as possible - and satirize attempts at social climbing, poking fun both at the vulgar, pretentious middle-class and the vain, snobbish aristocracy; however, as can be seen in the title of this adaptation Viva Bourgeois there of course will be a Mad Cat twist. Turn back the clocks to 1971 and take note that Monsieur Jourdain resembles Elvis Presley. Welcome to Graceland where kung fu, prescription drugs and cheeseburgers are all the rage.

The Mondrian South Beach features a bay front swimming pool surrounded by sun-soaked lounge pillows, lush gardens hung with hammocks and landscaped into a labyrinthine trail with lounge areas to enjoy all day long or at cocktail time while watching amazing sunsets.

In this sensual setting, every Sunday from noon to midnight, we will host a decadent party, complete with extravagant indoor-outdoor brunch buffet by world-renowned Asia de Cuba. Delectable selections that include Main Lobster and Blue Crab four egg omelette, seafood ceviche, steak and eggs 'Asia de Cuba' style.
